I inherited my passion for the ancient art of Belly Dance through my families Persian cultural background. In my early teens, I spent most of my time studying traditional and modern belly dance at The Broadway Dance Center in New York City. In 2001, I was recruited by Amira Mor to join her International Entertainment Co., where I danced alongside her and the belly dance troupe for 4 years. During that time, we performed countless events at notable venues including Queens Theatre in the Park and New York's Radio City Music Hall, where we performed for The Beatles drummer, Ringo Starr. We made several belly dance instructional DVDs, such as Belly Dance Your Way to Fitness. Since then, I've continued furthering my practice and studies with dynamic dancers such as Rachel Brice and Zoe Jakes.
In 2006, I started teaching my own unique style with dedicated students and clients. I led hundreds of belly dance classes throughout the Tri-State Area at studios including Fred Astaire, JCC and YMCA. I continued performing in high demand independently, and was asked to open for Berkley School's, Annual Fashion Show in 2012.
Craving a warmer habitat and the ocean breeze, I decided to move from NYC to Miami in 2013. Since then, I continue sharing my gypsy-dragon style of dance through South Florida, and occasionally take short trips up North. I'm currently available for events, dance classes and private lessons upon request.
